Description
The ECM Podcast brings listeners into conversation with the artists shaping today’s ECM sound. Each week, Caro Fontanieu sits down with an ECM musician to explore the ideas, processes and stories behind their latest release, offering an intimate look at the music beyond the recording.
In this episode Marilyn Crispell joins Caro to discuss her trio album "Amaryllis", originally released on CD in 2001 and now available, for the first time, on vinyl as part of the Luminessence series. They talk about Marilyn's journey in music, her friendship and collaboration with Paul Motian and Gary Peacock, the encounters that changed her life and much more.
