Leave your material body, ascend to the heavens and dance with the eternal deities of space and time. I have been trying to branch out and tackle that endlessly daunting task that is JAZZ music. I can't do it, not yet, but I'm trying. I am dipping my toes in with a few sub-genres that appeal to my usual music interests, namely psychedelic music.I've touched on Avant-Garde Jazz previously and that's in this show a bit, but tonight I am leaning heavy into SPIRITUAL JAZZ. In the same way that psychedelic music is less about very specific musical requirements and more about crafting a mind-expanding experience, spiritual jazz is about transcendence. Where this music can take you rather than what it is. I don't know much about jazz, so I've spent quite a lot of time listening to things that sound as close to psych music as I can find with varying results. So tonight I present two hours of transcending music, and it all happens to be jazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
