Winter is upon us and the globe turns once more to a new calendar. Since the outset of this radio program I've been assembling what I brand "Winter Light" episodes, and it wasn't long before this yearly custom became an annual tradition. This is the eighth one and it exemplifies a lot of my favorite sounding folk music. It is often sparse but keeps a hopeful quality, perfect for these dark months as we await the return of the sun.
