Christmas is so tied to the cold and blustering snow, but there's much of the world where nary a snowflake falls on Christmas day. What a poor pathetic lot those losers who live there are. What these exotic locals lack in low temperatures and an overall visual confirmation of holiday spirit and mirth, they make up for in canoes, luaus and palm trees. And that doesn't all stop just because sugar plums start dancin', reindeer start dashin' and wise men start genuflectin'. Tonight is two hours of easy listening exotica Christmas: where slack key guitars, ukuleles, vibraphones and zithers dominate the sound waves. We are going to stick mainly to Hawaii and Polynesia, with a bit of lounge and a taste of where it all began, the Middle East, thrown in for good measure. So trade your 'kerchief and cap for a lei and a snorkel and let's spend the holiday away across the sea!
