If you ever find yourself in Wisconsin, pull over at Sumpter, because if you don't, you will pass by a modern marvel and an unfortunately unrealized dream. Victorian inventor Dr. Evermor was a simple man with a simple dream, to launch himself "into the heavens on a magnetic lightning force beam" using a giant machine he built himself. Dr. Evermor's Forevertron set its sights high and the contraption remains today, all 300 tons of it, in Dr. Evermor's Art Park. I may not get there on my upcoming trip to WI, but the dream of Evermor will live forever in my heart. I'm not sure what kind of music the eccentric inventor would have liked, but if he couldn't physically transport himself, perhaps he'd enjoy transporting his mind with 2 hours of blistering psychedelic madness. Tonight is just that - all the trippiest psych, by listening you can live out the dream of this mad doctor.
