Here we are at the end of another year, with a new one beginning. Winter Light / Summer Heat is in its winter light phase, as it tends to be when the year changes over. It is a quiet time of year, where the urge to play reflective and almost ghostly folk takes over. Let's embrace it here at the start/end of another rotation. Did you accomplish your new year's resolution this time? No? Well, look, you've got another shot. A lot of terrible things happened in the last 365 days, and many more will likely be coming up in the next 52 weeks, but hey, I'm sure some nice things will happen to us all too. I know of a few for myself already. Let's take comfort in those good things, but don't let the fire go out. We have a chance to do it all again. So let's go, feet first, into the new year in a world where everything changes, nothing dies.
