Description
Every listener down in Burlington liked Christmas a lot, but Patrick Green Beans - who lived just north of Burlington - did also, maybe even more so. Last night I dreamt I saw Santa Claus, so I sez to Santa, I sez “You may be an undigested bit of beef, a blot of mustard, a crumb of cheese, a fragment of underdone potato. There's more of gravy than of grave about you!” But he replied "Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good songs of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is heard this day from the city of Burlington a Christmas episode, which is nice and good and filled with Christmas warmth and not sacrilegious at all." What's a Christmas playlist without old songs no one has every heard of and wild and kooky concepts that usually aren't at the heart of songwriting? Can't really call it a Christmas playlist now, can you? And think of all the fun and joy that would be lost on Christmas night, if all the young folks didn't get to hear that unique and esoteric Xmas episode.
