Every episode I make has an image to go along with it. Usually I try to find a classic painting, or an interesting illustration that captures the mood of that day's playlist. But this time, it is the opposite, everything about this episode has been built around a great image. I find that the weakest episodes are ones with a theme that is just a tangible subject rather than a feeling or style. They are often too straightforward and too predictable, the songs don't always flow into one another as well, metaphor is lost and I feel laziness has won out whenever I present one. In unrelated news, tonight's episode is all about birds. And you know what? There are a lot of songs about birds.
