Following the lead of Miles Davis and Tony Williams, in the early 1970s jazz musicians like John McLaughlin and Chick Corey started using electric instruments and the new genre of Fusion music was born. Keyboardist Jan Hammer was particularly busy during this period and show up on several tracks here.
