Happy Mother's Day! This episode starts out with a mix of classic and obscure rock songs about moms, then moves on to a half hour by Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention (including a piece called "Lumpy Gravy" that needs to be heard to be believed), and finally ends with a full hour of music from the "mother" of all avant garde rock bands - Magma from France! Since 1969 they've defined categorization, playing thundering bass riffs and singing the stories of the far off planet of Kobaia... in its native Kobaian language. This is a crazy two hours, I hope you love it!
