This month VNEE selects Shedcat. Shedcat delivers a sensual, genre-blurring sound, dancing between tribal rhythms, euphoric energy and textured grooves. Glasgow-raised and globally shaped- her journey took her through South America and Australia, where she started DJing and immersed herself in dance music culture. From workshops with Eris Drew & CC:DISCO to teaching in remote communities and spinning at bush doofs, her sound is rooted in depth and connection. Now back in Glasgow, she’s played the likes of La Cheetah, The Berkeley Suite, The Flying Duck, Stereo and Radio Buena Vida.
