This month's solo mix for UNICA is none other than Nohexcode. They are a queer, predominantly techno focused DJ, exploring and experimenting with some dark, groovy and hypnotic rhythms. They originally took up DJing as a hobby around the young age of 9 years old, learning how to mix drum and bass on vinyl. It wasn't until later years that they discovered an undying love for techno and the unorthodox sounds that it brings with it whilst also occasionally exploring other sounds they enjoy such as dub and breaks.
UNICA is a Queer based platform focusing on techno and incorporating experimental, dub and hypnotic rhythms exuding an ebullient flair encapsulating the personalities of CITYTRONIX & NOHEXCODE. They are focused on trans, femmes, and nonbinary people.
