It’s PRIDE month! This month’s UNDONE is celebrating queer joy and outdoor spaces with an oral history of the ‘This is my Culture’ George Micheal Party held on Hampstead Heath every year in June. Here we speak to the organsiers of one of London’s best loved grassroots parties on the intersections of protest, partying and community building in honor of Geroge Micheal. This soundscape (first created for an exhibition at QueerCircle) combines interviews, field recordings, and music selected by resident DJs to create an oral history of the event, now in its 9th year.
