We have reached the 23rd episode of The London Sound. A seemingly unassuming number of episodes, but to those that know - the number 23 is in fact a powerful number, part of the law of fives and ingrained into patterns across the universe. Or, at least, you'll start seeing it show up a lot more now that I've mentioned it. Popularised by the book The Illuminatus! Trilogy, the mystisim and significance of the number 23 was a meme spread by 90s counter-culture groups such as The KLF and, particularly, Spiral Tribe. This was also a feature of London's free party culture which had split from the freetekno movement happening on the continent. Charlie is in the mix and on the mic, playing a squat free party techno selection featuring some tracks which reference the number 23, as well as reading excerpts from The Illuminatus! Trilogy.
