As punk and reggae mixed together in the 1970s into the 80s, so London's techno producers taken heavy inspiration from dancehall, roots reggae and more of Black British music. While not a widely produced or played style, there have been plenty of releases over the last 20 years which combine the driving acid sound of London techno with the grand brass and basses of reggae. We'll hear productions from the major advicates of this genre such as Benji303, Jah Scoop and Bad Boy Pete, playing the early and latest releases. Big up the techno ragga crew, seen!
