Spin Am is the b2b DJ duo of bbshkales and Jean Blaire. Their vision for the dancefloor is a kinetic one, pulling from their West African heritage and interacting with global underground club and internet cultures to create open format mixes and no judgement spaces for Gen Z dancers. Alongside their work across London’s nightlife, which spans DJing, production and cultural programming, the pair continue to build a dedicated and growing audience. As residents on Voices Radio, Spin Am use their show to explore the full scope of their sound. Their debut episode is not a formal introduction, more an exhibition: the first hour captures their high energy mixing and b2b synergy, while the second expands into the wider Spin Am universe, featuring unreleased music from friends, collaborators, and productions from bbshkales himself.
