Something To: Evolve w/ Mitch - 01.05.24 - Voices Radio

This month Mitch steps up for a guest mix on Andrew Hulme’s ‘Something to:’ show. This mix, ‘Something to: Evolve’, aims to capture the evolution of Blues music from the 1950s to 1980s, incorporating elements of Northern soul, jazz funk, and disco. It was recorded on vinyl, some of which are sought after DJ only promo copies that can take years to come into circulation amongst collectors. Included are tracks from a wide range of geographies including the USA, Madagascar, Suriname, and finishes with a recently unearthed Brit funk record.
