DJ Sweed is a Bangkok-based DJ, musician, and composer known for immersive, experimental sets that fuse heavy, driving percussion with hypnotic, trippy textures. Active in the electronic music scene since beginning his professional DJ career in 2007, he has developed a distinctive sound that bridges techno, live electronics, and forward-thinking club music.
He is currently the sound engineer and a resident DJ at Bangkok’s renowned BEAM club. Previously, he held a residency at De Commune and has performed at major events and festivals including Wonderfruit Festival, Tempology Music Festival, Diage, and Beatforest.Expanding beyond DJing, DJ Sweed has incorporated modular and hardware synthesizers into his performances, crafting dynamic live sets that emphasize improvisation and sonic exploration.
