Salam Kitty is a community organiser and DJ based in Glasgow. They began DJing as a sonic exploration into their mixed cultural roots and queer identity, using music as a way to connect to their heritage and local community, as cofounder of Scottish QBPoC party Mojxmma and inclusive SWANA party WSHWSH. Outside of their own parties, they have played for some of Scotland's most infamous, alongside the likes of Jyoty, LSDXOXO, UNiiQU3 and Animistic Beliefs. Always evolving and exploring, they bring an eclectic mix of bass heavy and percussive genres with fun edits, afro-electronic and left-field experimental techno, electro and breaks.
