Politics is in the air we breath & race is an inherent aspect of that. The aim of this episode is give voice to black and minority ethnic expressions in all their sadness, despair, anger and resilience across both sides of the Atlantic in the face of racist political institutions and a wider society indifferent to their struggles. The role of listener, if they start to see themselves as a participant in an active conversation with the artist, rather than a passive object, to engage with the art on a deeper level.
