Keeping things pretty buttery smooth this month. Loopy, reflective, deep textures and feelings in the first 15 to kick things off. Following that, the Vinylover mix of Frank O’Moiraghi and Mr Mike’s Harlem Shuffle which I picked up from Zap Records in Amsterdam is a standout tune for me, very likely to hear more of my digs from there in future mixes
More groovy and funky in the middle section, and I’ve even thrown in one of my own projects which you’ll hear in the 43rd minute which paired nicely with a remix from 2020 Vision. One I’ve had on a heavy rotation after Ralph Lawson tickled my brain with it at Terminus in the summer before sticking a softer landing with a Rob Lancey mix of Circe by Ursula Rucker
Catch me and the SLVA residents up to our usual tricks in Herne Hill on Saturday from 5pm at the Birdhouse Taproom. And then gearing up for the big one, bringing Chicago and house music legend Robert Owens to Venue MOT for an extended set with MOUSETRAP.
