Knock Knock, Me Again follows a woman in her 30s on an anxiety-inducing journey: to discover whether she can learn to be a stand-up comedian. She travels to people's living rooms, sits them down upon their sofa, and performs comedy at them: an excruciating encounter for both parties. She and her guest then discuss the experience over a cup of tea: what went well, what went badly, and most crucially, why.
Tanna is an artist and a visiting lecturer on the Experimental Performance and Composition courses at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire of Music. With an interest in psychology, human nature, the everyday and humour, she devises interdisciplinary works which share how she sees the world. Knock Knock Me Again is one of those works...
