INTRODUCING @khush.collective - a platform showcasing south asian underground artists playing alternative, darker sounds.
The first mix in the series is from @sea_elegans. This mix spans many of Sea Elegans' central influences, gradually building through slow, viscous, dancefloor-oriented and analytical techno before a brief detour through electro and EBM. A nod to Detroit pivots the mix into dubby ambient tinged with some new- and old-school jungle classics, and a surprise appearance from the latent influence of Pink Floyd , before an acceleration into faster techno now infused with even more dub. The faster tempo is maintained until the last track, which returns to the slow, clinical but emotive body-music finale.
