I recently did a two hour set, and when I stepped down from the stage, a fan came up to me to give a comment that he said could be taken badly. Being a woman on the music scene, I sighed under my breath and braced for the worst. He came out with: “Your sets always feel like you’re edging us”.

I usually hate being sexualised when I’m on stage, but if my music is sexualised… now that, I can get behind (pun intended?). This is exactly the vibe. I like to stretch out the beginning to make the end more powerful and enjoyable. I like to make you wait. It’s impossible to keep someone up for hours, just like it's impossible to stretch out an orgasm for too long. It would ultimately stop being enjoyable and end up boring you anyway. So here is a set based on that feeling of being edged, of controlling you, having you in the palm of my hand, bringing you up and down and taking the music in turns you never expected.
