Jaggery Radio is a radio show founded with the ethos of storytelling and drawing to Nishévitha’s South Asian roots. With the guests she invites to Jaggery Radio, she hopes to continue the tradition of storytelling and curate mind-bending journeys for listeners all over the globe. Nishévitha’s first Jaggery Radio guest is the illustrious wahala.wav. A co-founder of the NYC based collective SLICK DOWN, a resident of 8 Ball Radio, and an immensely talented producer, wahala.wav is a powerhouse and a force to be reckoned with. This warm, cerebral mix is a reflection of wahala’s tastemaking prowess– he starts with a moving rendition of “How Can You Say It” by Gloria Ann Taylor, and forays into house, funk, and various iterations of dance music by select producers including Jeff Mills, AceMo, and KORRĒ.
