This Podcast is all about re-energising our city with music venues, poets, writers and all those people who bring electricity.
Through a series of interviews, essays, poems and discussions we will meet some of the people who run poetry nights, jazz evenings, storytelling sessions and the venues where you can find these events.
In episode one, I talk to Maisie Maris. Maisie is a young artist/ sculpture who graduated from the RCA with a masters. She now works teaching children the importance of creativity and expression, whilst also maintaining her own work.
We talk about where she gets her inspiration, her journey to becoming an artist and some of the most important influences that have affected her so far… As well as her death row meal, and most valued piece of art work.
