Description
I’m joined for this hour by a fine and old friend of mine, Dr. Stephen X. Carlin Esq., esteemed book-enjoyer and all-around stand up fellow. We discuss, primarily, the life, work and influence of William Butler Yeats - the poet, artist and wizard, whose poetic vision and conscious-expanding rhetoric helped define a new Ireland at the start of the last century. He also voluntarily underwent unnecessary surgery on his testicles, which we find funny. Note: at the end of our discussion, Stephen confesses casually to purloining bottled beer from a small business in Switzerland. I have left this in the broadcast to discipline him.
