Habibti Nation Takeover - LINGZ 29/07/26 Voices Radio

LINGZ is a Lebanese multi-genre DJ with a special love for bass music, spanning dubstep, bassline, footwork, jungle, old skool DNB and beyond. Formerly Sheffield-based, she co-founded the all women/non-binary collective Kiss My Bass, a movement dedicated to uniting the dancefloor and championing hardworking underground talent.

As she couldn’t make it into the studio, we will be listening to a recording of her Ground Rules Festival set on the Firmly Rooted Sound System. Hear her reflections on this: “This is the most special set I’ve played yet. A selection of generational classics, edits and remixes of sounds that raised me, woven together with the bass music that’s shaped me as a DJ. Wallah there’s something indescribable about blending it all into a story I get to share with others.
