FemmeDM is a Glasgow-founded platform championing FLINTA+ artists across

underground electronic music. Through club nights, DJ workshops, radio, bookings and

takeovers across Glasgow and London, FemmeDM creates space for both emerging and

established selectors while connecting scenes across the UK. Each month on Voices,

FemmeDM hands the controls to a different artist from its wider network, showcasing the

sounds and people shaping the community.

This month welcomes Carmen Baía, a Glasgow-based DJ known for eclectic, high-intensity

sets moving through Latin-inspired percussion, jungle, baile funk and stripped-back house. A

resident with Breathe Glasgow and Radio Buena Vida, she has played FLY Open Air and

TRNSMT alongside sold-out shows across Glasgow, Edinburgh and London. Her instinctive

approach to rhythm and genre makes for unpredictable, percussion-heavy club music.
