Ruby is one of my best friends and sitting down with her and recording this show was a pleasure. She speaks thoughtfully about the main takeaway from her experience: the importance of talking and being open with those around you. She’s a massive advocate for getting things off your chest and not holding things in; grieving or not, there is a lesson to be taken for everyone here.

Ruby has been through an incredible amount of loss, and it's what, as she says, makes her such a great listener and empathetic person. She is one of the kindest souls I know and a testament to not letting the things that could derail you do so. Her take on life is one that I always want to be in, and I feel fortunate to be as close to her as I am.
