‘Curry’s House with D.D.Curry’ is a 2-hour dance music program on Voices At Night that combines DJ sets and guest interviews. The London-via-Brooklyn host is a DJ, producer and co-founder of electronic labels Fortune Signal and Working Rhythms Records. Each month, Curry will invite a guest DJ to provide a 1-hour set and have a lively conversation about music that influenced them. In this month’s installment, Curry is joined by Nick Benson, co-founder of New York City deep house label 13th Hour Records, which recently ceased operations. Benson plays a guest mix of some of his favourite 13th Hour releases and stylistically similar house tracks, then sits down with the host for a deep dive into the label’s history.
