Leon Brown is a London based musician, writer, and screen printer. Through his artistic works he explores the the subject of addiction while aiming to create awareness by seeking new angles in using his own experiences and from the perspectives of others. In doing so, and often looking to go ‘against the consensus’ for a greater endeavour of altering the shocking statistic that… 95-98% of ‘addicts’ eventually succumb to their problem. Leon believes this can change, if to the individual, the message leading to an ‘awakening’ from the autonomous self-destructive nature of an addiction, can alter to one of self-care, by generating discussion, thought, and through artistic expression.
