Club Minijupe with DJ Leenda Karina is kicking us off this morning with a vinyl set of 1960s French beat, pop psychedelique, and yé-yé 🇫🇷
As a London-based record DJ/collector hailing from California, Leenda Karina has over 15 years of experience in this practice, with one of her favourite and exciting gigs being at the Andy Warhol Retrospective preview event at the Museum of Contemporary Art many moons ago. She specializes in the crossover between fashion, music and cinema in 1960s Paris.
Her latest project has her joining forces with the lovely Psychedelic Daffodils and combining the brilliant sounds of the 60’s —UK/US psych and garage bangers alongside glorious French 60s delicacies at the lastest brand new London club night DAUGHTERS OF THE SUN at the Dalston Victoria on the 25th of March.
