BUMPAH is live on the Voices airwaves 8-9pm! This month, BUMPAH’s third co-founder @xixi.gongzhu has prepared a mix that puts the voices of bass music front and centre. Expect tracks from MCs, singers and other vocal experimenters cutting across borders and BPMs. the mix cuts the more alternative side of UK MCing as well as underrepresented voices from Xixi’s native Northeast Asia (Mongolian grime? yes, it exists) stitching together a vocal-led continuum that’s as raw as it is unpredictable
