For the next hour Benji is in conversation with Jacob Hughes, a professional drummer and music educator based in South East London. He is a founding member of the band @peaktradingband where he collaborates with his brother, as well as friend and guitarist, Jamie Simkin. Together, they create a unique blend of textural electronic soundscapes and intense rock arrangements. Peak Trading has gained attention with the second installment of their curated event, Cash Flow, held at George Tavern. In addition to his work with Peak Trading, Jacob has played with a variety of artists, including Pam From Admin and Aliesha Lobzuceck. Currently, he is collaborating with his longtime friend, Robert Venning (aka @dj_pitch ), on a new electronic project called Void. Their debut performance will be supporting Chanel Beads to a sold-out crowd at @corsica.studios on August 28th.
