Upside Your Mind beams in from the Walled City of York for 2 hours of Ambient, Electronic, and Jazz forays, field recordings, samples and snickleways. Speaking from the past, philosopher J. Krishnamurti joins this month with a recording taken from a Q and A given back in the 1970’s.
This months guest mix comes from Kerouac, well known on the north underground for his heavier house and dancefloor oriented sound. Also releasing as Kerouac and Smile and KRS2, he came to Upside Your Minds ear via the superb and highly recommended Hideous Things label, mix series and blog. This mix takes shades from the aforementioned outing – laced with synths and electronic dream rhythms.
