Welcome back to the auuk. Collective show on Voices Radio! We aim to promote local and emerging artists, from all corners of the globe. Every month we will host an artist from different sides of the hemisphere. Bridging the gap between Australia and the UK, while also sticking directly to our name AuuK – AU / UK. This month we have an artist new to the scene, but is already pushing her unique sounds across the streets of Naarm. Yengirl Yengirl is a genre-bending baby DJ based in Naarm/Melbourne, Australia. A lover of all kinds of music, she is not afraid to mix sounds that are the same vibe in different fonts. With her proud Japanese heritage, she is inspired by city pop, jazz, disco and house music that are full of emotion. Being just 6 months into her DJ journey, she continues to build her portfolio of fun, energetic and sentimental mixes.
