‘444' aka Anu Desai is a South Asian DJ and Producer based in Brooklyn NY. 444 grew up playing percussion instruments, which has since translated into her passion to DJ and curate a high vibrational and infectious energy in any room. You can expect to hear global and cultural sounds, such as Brazilian/Arab Funk, Shatta, Dancehall, Amapiano, Jersey/Baltimore Club, Miami Bass, Dembow and UK Garage, met with her signature bouncy club edits and heavy bass lines. Anu prioritizes using music as a tool to empower her underrepresented South Asian community by collaborating with Queer/ BIPOC DJ collectives and hosting DJ workshops to promote accessibility within the music industry. Anu is quickly making a name for herself on the NYC club stage and a staple within the Queer nightlife scene by blending her unique style and diversity of sound on the dance floor.
