I am, of course, referring to the Legend of Sweet Martin. His is a name known by all, spoken in jubilation- both as a lesson and celebration. Children are taught his name and story from an early age throughout the land; it appears incredibly that despite the unending variations of culture and lifestyle that have taken root in The Swords, his glorious life has managed to endure and find a firm place in all. Surely, Sweet Martin’s purity is the one defining law that we all share, if not always practised…”
