Description
Each week during 2025 I shared a song every Friday night (a "Friday Night Jam"). Festive, quirky, and fun, mostly uncommon pop/world/soul selections, mostly from the 1960s and 1970s. On this mix, about half of the tracks are from the USA and half from elsewhere (England, Ireland, France, Estonia, Tunisia...). This is a part ONE of a collection of 2025 FNJs; I will share part TWO before the end of the year.
The mix is timestamped and the full tracklist is in a comment.
The cover art is an excerpt from the 1957 surrealist painting "Creation of the Birds" by Remedios Varo, housed at the Museo de Arte Moderno in Mexico City.
"On second thought, I think I am more crazy than my goat." -- Remedios Varo
