“The light of memory, or rather the light that memory lends to things, is the palest light of all. I am not quite sure whether I am dreaming or remembering, whether I have lived my life or dreamed it.” ― Eugène Ionesco
This is a lush and transporting mix of beautiful, peaceful, and atmospheric indie pop (mostly). The songs are characterized by a lovely formlessness that suits the moniker ambient pop. Over half the tracks are in English (USA/Canada/England/NZ), and the remainder are from Europe (Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Poland, Italy) and Japan. Over half are from 2007-2013; the earliest track is from 1980 and the most recent from 2025. The mix is timestamped and I will put the tracklist in a comment.
The cover is a portrait Dora Maar took of her friend Nusch Eluard (entitled "The years lie in wait for you"; 1932)
