Mark Young takes us on an ol'skool journey from liquid thru Jungle techno to Hardcore Jungle.
He started DJing at 14; inspired by acid house, trance & techno raves by The Tribe of Twat, Spiral Tribe & others. Helter Skelter DJs introduced him to Jungle in the early ‘90s.
In ‘96 he became a resident at Squeeze, hosting Tidy, Sundissential, & Helter Skelter DJ’s with Jo Cocolucci. He began his own techno nights across Wales with local talent & big names like Billy Nasty, whilst playing for other nights, inc Alias parties & Code in Leeds. He plays at festies inc Gotwood, Kranj & for Radio Aktiv events, in Slovenia. He streams for Techno Pulse Recordings & Timeless Live Mixes, with bookings at The Void techno nights & Enter The Sound Festival.
