Rik Sonic, is a DJ from Sydney, Australia and a lover of the 45 format, has this to say about his mix his called 'When Reggae Was Boss':
"45s were always around my house as a kid - my parents had lots of them! I started collecting 2Tone records in the mid 80s, traced those sounds back to their Jamaican origins and have been hooked on the music of that little island ever since. Did much the same when i discovered Hip Hop in the early 90s - traced it back to its Funk, Soul, Jazz roots and started sourcing the original samples, which has since led to all the eclectic music i love and listen to now!"
