Tom Showtime is a man of many guises. DJ. Producer. Pizza Guy. Saxophonist. Dad. Gramophone Enthusiast.

From Be-Bop to Breakbeat and everything in between, Tom’s passion for music is paralleled only by his love of 45s, coffee and watermelon! Having spun around the globe, releasing original and mashup material, founding Easy Now Recordings with Dj Maars and playing in the jazzy hip hop band ZEDSIX.

Tom has this to say about his mix: “I grew up playing jazz (sax) and although I love all genres, hip hop has been my main flame, both as a soundtrack and how I present as DJ. I really wanted to do a more laidback/headnodding type mix, letting the tracks breathe with no quick mixing.

Recorded at SPQR Pizzeria around 8am on a Tuesday, I consumed a long black coffee and an apple during the session. I’ve then given it some extra cuts and polished it up in the studio.

This is a journey into sound, where hip hop and jazz collide. Enjoy!”
