We are super proud to present the first Member Mix by Dj Blue Funk, who has this to say about his mix:

My name is Chris & I DJ under the name Blue Funk. I started DJing and record collecting 11 years ago while living in Japan. I moved to the US shortly after and have been active in the DJ scene in Minneapolis, MN guesting at funk soul 45 focused party Hipshaker and co-founding monthly rare groove party The Nitty Gritty.

This mix showcases records I found around Minneapolis, a few choice cuts from local label Secret Stash, recent favorites and records I found while digging in Japan & NYC. Of particular note is a recent find "Standing In The Rain Again" by Megaton with an insane b-boy break that I found at a vintage shop in town, I had to check out this white label 6 minute curio and was not disappointed.
