'As much as the mix is wild ride through my collection it is a journey into Hip Hop history. The set starts with a cut from 2006, the period when I started DJing and collecting vinyl. From that point the mix goes forth and back in time with a focus on 80s and 90s joints, but also on a newer generation of producers and edit masterminds who stand for the relevance of the 7inch format today like Jim Sharp, Soopasoul, DJ Bacon or Altered Tapes. This mix brings to you a heavy Hip Hop overdose with lots of funky finesse highlighted by the 45 Kings anthem from Deejay Katch & Abstract Rude!'
