Rusty Cage is a show aimed at Grunge fans and combines a mixture of classic 90’s grunge, post grunge and alternative music. The general feel of the show is dirty and raw , starting off with heavily distorted guitar riffs from Fu Manchu and the raw vocals of The Vines it then veers into powerful harmonies and pumping rhythms from Alice In Chains and takes you back to classic grunge anthems from Soundgarden and Pearl Jam. In the centre of the show it slows down into a more chilled atmosphere, with relaxed head -bobbing rhythms and warm acoustic guitars from the Dessert Sessions through to The John Burton Trio who offer something a little bit different to your grunge loving listener, picking it back up with Them Crooked Vultures and Queens Of The Stone Age the show then showcases some of the music inspired by Grunge and projects by some of the cult figures in grunge and stoner rock (Dave Grohl and Josh Homme) the show then moves into Smashing Pumpkins territory with Auf Der Maur..........
