This mixtape was initially made for the Belgian-Dutch music magazine www.gonzocircus.com and covers 'classic' and ultrafast Tsonga disco from the 90s and 2000s. A trip to the recent past, with some of the pioneers and ambassadors of South-African Shangaan pop, like different members from the Chauke and Maluleke clans, Peta Teanet, Joe Shirimani and Penny Penny.
Thanks goes to Tsonga music collector and music blogger Ernie Goggins (http://27leggies.blogspot.be) for sharing his music with me and making this mix possible.
