So, another listener recently started giving me crap for not playing anything from my hometown of Vancouver. Now I have no problems playing local talent..it's just that I don't have that much of it! (Hint, hint Vancouver rappers. You should take a page out of what the guys out in Toronto are doing. Spamming the hell out of every social media outlet with their music.) I've always found that the Hip Hop scene in Vancouver does a very poor job of getting their music out there for people to enjoy. But nonetheless I was able to track some down for this week's show!

We got some new Vancouver material from Azrael, E.D.G.E., Scale Breakers, Kid Lithium as well as new Canadian tracks by Burna and 4th Pyramid. We also got some new material out of the U.K. with tracks by Troop Raw and Darkstar (thanks to my man Ruairi at First Son Records for the hook up!). We also got new stuff from DATT, DJ Revolution, Has-lo, James Taylor Quartet, Chinese Man, some afrobeat jems and much much more!
