After almost a year without a podcast we thought we’d treat you to two in the space of a week, here is the first. Marcx steps up for this one, taking you through a soundscape of Techno, Garage, House, Grime, Dubstep and everything in between. This is our first ever vinyl only podcast, mixed on a pair of dodgey Numark decks running through an A&H Xone:22 mixer. This mix pretty much sums up the concept behind the Spectrm series and our mixing/selecting styles - a showcase of a variety of genres, all with a common, bass-heavy sound (although this one doesn't go above 140bpm). Highlights of this mix include the garage classic by Nu-Birth, ‘Anytime’ and the profound sub-bass of So Solid Crew’s ‘Dilemna’. This mix signals the welcome return of the Spectrm Podcast series and we hope you all enjoy both the sounds of this episode and those to come.
